How to get here
There are three companies offering cross Solent travel for cars and passengers, Wightlink, Red Funnel and Hovertravel.
We encourage guests to minimise their environmental impact by leaving the car at home and provide a transfer service from the various terminals at Yarmouth, West and East Cowes, Fishbourne and Ryde and can supply bicycles, bus rover tickets and daily low emissions car hire if required. We do however accept that this may not be practical for all guests and can arrange car ferry tickets at discounted rates for your stay.
The maximum travel time from any of the Solent terminals to our site is 45 minutes but the most convenient route to us is the Wightlink car/passenger ferry between Lymington and Yarmouth where the terminal is only a 5 minute drive from our location at Afton Apple Orchard (map). There are regular daily sailings, generally every half hour, and the crossing time is only 30 minutes.
